As an African immigrant, I came to the silvan after September 11, 2001; I was residing in Ghana during this calamity. save though I was in Ghana, I felt ill at ease(predicate) and felt like somebody stab me in my abdominal cavity with a knife when I comprehend the news close to the demolishing of the World make do Center. I was intimidated first off because my father who lived in New York trifleed at this World Trade Center; I thought he was part of the mass that died during the disaster simply to the almighty matinee idol grace, he went to work late that day and avoided the accident. I felt depress by and by and prayed to God to save the lives of the innocent individuals that died during this incident. Although I was 10 age old, I still remembered how I felt because of how special I beat September 11.

Furthermore, I remembered when I was migrating to the United States I had to go through abundance Security check in front line I entered the country. The country has learned a lesson from September 11 and has tightened their Security. It took me 2 hours for me to depart outside the JFK Airport. I was really issue and exhausted when I came outside but I lowlife calmed down because I realize why they perf ormed all these abundance tasks. They doing ! all these checks to prevent another disaster; they want to extend Americans safe and comfortable.
